Sangha
Our sangha events focus on your spiritual health. The sessions generally include topics such as, breaking free from worry and fear, the limitations of beliefs, opinions and judgments, being fully present in every moment, stillness and others.  These sessions are for those that are serious in their desire for Truth.  We provide a safe and supportive environment for those who are ready for and those that have already begun the journey.


Gatherings:
Gatherings are a time to come together and explore.  During these "mini" retreats we look at ways to awaken to the peace within ourselves using meditation, discussion and teachings from those who have already awakened to the truth, through Zen and other traditions.  Check the calendar page for scheduled gatherings or call today for an event at the location of your choice. 


Full Day Retreats:
Our full day intensive retreats are a time for you to look inward toward the true nature of your being.  It can be difficult to find the time for this reflection within the daily routine of our busy lives.  We invite you to take a day to immerse yourself in a sea of calm silence, inquiry and awakening.


The day generally includes teachings, a guided meditation session, a period of silence, time for lunch and an opportunity to relax in the garden or take a walk.  If you have a group that you would like to bring for a retreat we can tailor the retreat to fit your needs, this may include massage sessions, Reiki sessions and other options.  Call for more information.

Light snacks and tea are provided throughout the day.  You will need to bring a sack lunch.

Retreats are limited to a minimum of 5 people.  Check the calendar page for the next scheduled retreat or gather your friends, family and co-workers together and call to schedule your private retreat.


Meditation
One of the keys to effective meditation is to let things be just as they are, without trying to manipulate your experience.  When you let things be as they are your thoughts naturally start to slow down and dissipate, without struggle.  The silence that is between and behind your thoughts begins to flourish and the true benefit of meditation comes through. 

We offer individual and group  meditation sessions.  We invite you to find the stillness and the peace that continually exists within you, behind your thoughts and amidst the noise.

Dokusan:
Dokusan is loosely translated as "going alone to the teacher".  If you would prefer a private setting to explore the truth, have questions about your practice or have a subject that you would like to explore in a one on one setting private sessions are available.  Sessions can be done in person, by phone or through e-mail.
