Reiki
We are all created from a universal energy, whether you refer to that as consciousness, God, the divine or awareness etc.  Reiki is a healing method that is used to stimulate the energy in order to bring balance and harmony to your body.  Through the attunement process the Reiki Master is able to focus this energy directly to the receiver.

Reiki, although not always called this, is an ancient healing method used by Tibetan Lamas for over 2500 years.  It was given the name Reiki by Master Usui who studied ancient Buddhist texts, Christianity and other divinely inspired texts, noticing this common healing modality.  Reiki is a Japanese term that Master Usui used to attempt to describe this healing energy system, the link from "all that is" to the physical form.

Reiki Sessions:  Reiki sessions are one hour in length.  Unlike massage, you remain fully clothed.  It is important to drink plenty of water after your Reiki session.  Those who have received a Reiki treatment generally feel calm, peaceful and rejuvenated following a session.  The body is put in balance and healing can begin.

Reiki Level I, II, III Certification and Attunement:  One of the many wonderful aspects of Reiki is that it benefits the giver and the receiver.  If you would like to learn this ancient healing technique consider taking a Reiki class.  During the class you will learn about the history, the hand positions, different techniques and will go through the attunement process.  Not only is it a wonderful way to heal yourself but you will be able to share it with others.
