Heid Kistler, CHom, RMT – A short biography

Like many Classical Homeopaths I know, I began my love of Homeopathy as a patient.  I had been suffering from psoriasis for nearly a year.  At the time, my oldest daughter was 2 years old.  The psoriasis covered the palms of my hands, which made it very difficult to care for her or even hold and hug her.    Initially, I took the western approach of cortisone and steroids with no success.  I was fed up and exasperated.  I went to see a Homeopath.  He gave me one dose of sulphur 30C.  That was all it took.  Within one month, the psoriasis was gone.  Occasionally, I would  have a flare up, but another dose of sulphur would quickly come to my rescue and the flare ups have since subsided.   I knew from that moment on that I needed to learn this wonderful healing art so that I could help others find true health.  About 4 years earlier, before my bout with psoriasis, I was trained and certified as a Reiki Master and  I have found that Homeopathy, along with the relaxation and healing techniques of Reiki, are a perfect match for health.

Training and Certification:

• 2006 graduate of the Homeopathy School of Colorado, earning the designation of CHom.
• Completed one year of strictly clinical study through the Homeopathy School of Colorado in 2007.
• Member of the North American Society of Homeopaths
• Member of the National Center for Homeopathy
• Reiki Master Attunement and Certification, 2001
• Board member of the Natural Health Network, a local group of natural health professionals working to raise awareness about the natural health options in our community.
• Annual speaker at the Family Wisdom Conference in Traverse City Michigan
• Teach monthly classes on Homeopathy including, Introduction to Homeopathy, Homeopathy for Children's Health, Homeopathy for Women's Health and Homeopathy for Colds, Coughs and the Flu.
